About Us

Family Business

Generations of skilled tradesmen...

Terry started his apprenticeship in Newfoundland and has been in the plumbing industry since 1972. He moved to BC in 1979 and starting working as a plumber in Tahsis that fall. In 1981 he found local employment in the Valley where he worked until 1983. He then started Terra Nova Plumbing. During those early years, he concentrated mostly on new construction, both residential and light commercial.

Some of the projects he has been involved with are: Corinthia Estates in Crown Isle, Brittania Place in Crown Isle, Kingfisher Resort & Spa, Kingfisher Pacific Mist Hydro Path, Quarterdeck Hotel in Port Hardy, North Island Veterinary Hospital in Port Hardy and the Comox Quay, to name a few. For 40 years Terra Nova Plumbing has done both plumbing and gas work for many local contractors. In addition they have been involved in countless custom homes, working successfully with owners and designers.

We also like to volunteer in community events. Like the picture above showing the ladies helping out on McHappy Day and the whole crew coming in for breakfast to support the cause.
